Eddy -

A young, steam-powered robot not yet weathered by the elements, Eddy has an upbeat outlook and a big heart. Innocent, inquisitive, and always eager to help, he sets the hopeful tone of the series. He lives outside Smithy’s workshop, where he tends a garden—not for food, but for the butterflies, bees, and insects it attracts. Restless and curious, Eddy never stays in one place for long as he explores the world beyond the workshop.

Undoing: He can’t stand imperfections. A squeaky gear, a leaky pipe, or even a flower with a brown spot will drive him to distraction.

Pilot -

Pilot is Eddy’s best friend: a fast, loud, rambunctious bot with all-terrain wheels and a knack for getting into (and out of) trouble. He’s constantly breaking and fixing himself, which makes him surprisingly resourceful—but his “fixes” are usually temporary. Confident, reckless, and endlessly talkative, he sees Eddy as the perfect audience for his antics.

Undoing: Impatience and overconfidence often get him in deeper trouble than he realizes.

Elektra -

Smooth, quiet, and graceful, Elektra glides through the world with solar-powered elegance. She lives on the sunny edge of the meadow, where she recharges her panels and avoids the noisier bots. While her peaceful nature draws attention from Eddy and Pilot, she’s not fond of being the center of attention—except when she is. Unfortunately, her tendency to shock herself (and others) often interrupts her calm demeanor.

Undoing: She dislikes chaos and “dirty, noisy machines,” but also struggles with the attention she secretly craves.

Smithy -

A mix of Albert Einstein and Doc Brown, Smithy is the eccentric creator of TinkerTown. With wild hair and a dirty lab coat, he breathes life into metal scraps, treating machines as works of art rather than products of precision. Brilliant but scatterbrained, his amplified quirks make him both the “wizard behind the curtain” and a comedic mentor figure for the young bots.

Undoing: An inability to focus on one project at a time—he’s always chasing the next big idea.

Lumber-Jack -

Built to cut and transport trees to fuel the forge, Lumber-Jack is a burly, gruff bot designed for the treetops. But after too many falls, he’s developed a fear of heights, preferring to stick to the ground. Hard of hearing and indiscriminate in his chopping, he’s both useful and dangerous, often creating more problems than he solves.

Undoing: Fear of heights, poor hearing, and a tendency to chop the wrong thing.

Mr. Babbitt -

The oldest of Smithy’s creations, Mr. Babbitt lives by the stream, endlessly panning for gold where none exists. Years of exposure have left him rusted, rickety, and a little unhinged. Despite countless failures, he remains obsessed with striking it rich, forever inventing contraptions that the rushing water inevitably destroys. Though falling apart, his eccentric optimism makes him oddly endearing.

Undoing: A gold obsession that blinds him to reality—and more than a few loose screws.

Those Pesky Squirrels -

Mischievous tricksters, the squirrels are fast, sneaky, and endlessly curious. They love shiny objects and often stash acorns in the worst possible places, jamming gears and clogging pipes across TinkerTown. Their silent, darting antics make them the perfect recurring adversaries for Eddy and his friends.

Undoing: Their mischief always goes a step too far, backfiring in hilarious ways.
